Slauson Donuts -3451 W Slauson Ave.

Sept: I was contacted over half a decade ago by a Slauson beautification organization to do the donut shop. I collabed with Alexander DCD on the back. Slauson always had that iconic yellow, so I just added to it. It's a staple in that spot for many years. Since then I have redone the entire store, the sign and most of the parking lot, with the artists, Jennifer Korsen, Phobik, and Espy. The owner even let me brand some of the "dozen" boxes with my art. That spots always been special to me. Mainly because of the area, the people and the opportunity. It's farther out than a lot of my work and wrapping a donut shop is fucking awesome, are you kidding me?
Arts District Dog Park - 1004 East 4th St.

Sept:
I did this in 1 day in the blazing sun. 17 dogs I think? I did it for free. The only reason it's still riding is because it's behind a fence. I love dogs and I think they like me to, so when I painted this I just painted pictures of my friends from the park. In the middle is Gaston. RIP Gaston. The mayor came out, there was a ceremony, a little different. I was fortunate enough for Doug Y. (an amazingly talented framer) to give me a shot at this. i think there is even a dog bone plaque with my name in these. Weird though, because that style is dead, for me anyways.
